Acupressure labour comb

  • There are several ways that you can use the Acu-comb.

The most common method is to place it in the palm with the teeth facing into either the middle of the palm, or to use acupressure techniques, place along the crease at the base of the fingers.

As the contraction/surge builds, in conjunction with breath work, squeeze the comb into the palm - increasing the pressure as the wave of the contraction/surge peaks, and then releasing as it ebbs away.

Also it can be used to provide distraction by gently scraping against skin on the arms, back or scalp

  • Monitor skin integrity, do not continue if area is becoming irritated or if skin is broken.
